As a Payroll Service Bureau…

We began operations in 1994 in Pittsburgh as Payroll Solutions, a payroll service bureau. At that time, our mission was clear. We wanted to start a payroll service firm dedicated to providing state-of-the-art technology with unmatched client service.

Focused on that goal, we set our sights on sustained growth and steadily increased our reach throughout the country, opening our Western Region office in Huntington Beach, CA in 2002.

That dedication to both technology and service became the theme throughout our evolution and is still the backbone of our organization and our culture. As our products and company developed throughout the years, we held firm to that commitment, and in 2008 those efforts were recognized when we were awarded the Service Bureau of the Year award by Independent Payroll Providers Association (IPPA).

Our Evolution…

Through controlled growth, Payroll Solutions had become one of the largest payroll service providers in the nation, providing core payroll processing and tax filing services to our small to mid-sized business clients. We continue to provide those services today, and as a SAS70 Type II compliant provider, we remain at the top of our field.

However, during the course of the last 17 years, our business model, technology, products, culture and vision have evolved to encompass much more than simply “payroll,” and reach far beyond the “solutions” of our early years. We have evolved from a “payroll service bureau” to a full workforce management firm, able to manage every aspect of our clients’ workforce management needs, from time collection and payroll to a complete, fully integrated HRMS platform.

Our Name…

By 2011 it was clear that we were no longer able to market ourselves as simply “Payroll Solutions.” Our name change from Payroll Solutions to Sentric, Inc. allowed us to better position ourselves in the marketplace as a key provider of workforce management solutions. Our commitment to provide rich technology paired with unparalleled client support remains paramount. Our client-centric approach to workforce management solutions solidified us as a leader in the industry.

The SentricWorkforce solution is a comprehensive unified workforce management solution suite of services which include payroll, time and labor management (SentricTLM), and a complete HRMS (SentricHCM) that provides benefit administration, compliance, policies and best practices, and training and development programs, as well as other capabilities and features, such as performance management, expense management, time and attendance, organizational planning, recruitment management and more. SentricWorkforce enables companies to take advantage of the specific solutions that meet their current needs.
